Snow means go!

Diary

I don’t find January blue, in fact it’s a relief for me. My association with the last three months of the year and negative experiences is still present, so January is a time I can breathe, and look forward, hope for a year with less trauma and hurt.

I’m also fond of snow, it brightens up a dull day, it glistens, turning concrete white and finally all the gloom of winter is forgotten. I know it brings the perils of transport difficulties, and maybe the cold, but I can live with them. Wrapping up warm and cosy is a snug way to feel.

January and the fall of snow is the signal to me, to press the green button and go!
